Our client is an organisation which supports the local community with a variety of services , as a growing workforce they require an experienced HR Administrator/Coordinator to join their HR team and support the Senior HR Advisor with processes and administration around employee relations, employee records, sickness and absence and grievance and disciplinaries. This role is integral within the HR department which provides a HR service across all aspects of their generalist people agenda. This role is a 3 day per week role which is working from home and from the office, this will flex and adapt based on the meeting schedule and this salary is £17,057 - £19,580 for 21 hours and the FTE is £32,700 - £33,500. Ideally the successful candidate will have CIPD 5 or working towards it. Other HR accreditations and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with disciplinary cases and preparation of papers
  • Note taking at hearings, appeals and investigations
  • Provide support on how to conduct sickness absence home visits, welfare meetings and formal sickness absence meetings
  • Collate accurate absence data and update record staff records accurately
  • Manage the OHU process to ensure the accurate and timely referrals to the OHU services
  • Monitor sickness levels and inform direct managers of employee’s sickness/absence and company levels of what’s 'acceptable’
  • Liaise with payroll for sick pay and company policy
