Career Teachers are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and caring Key stage 1 teacher, to join their dedicated team of teachers and support staff.
The school is a one form-entry Infant School in Castleford and has good transport links including public transport. The role is to start in January on a full-time basis to cover Maternity and will run until October half-term 2025. The successful candidate will be offered bespoke continuous professional development, coaching, mentoring and an opportunity to thrive in an infant school where every day is too good to miss, and learning is irresistible.

The successful candidate will:
- Have a sound understanding of the curriculum and assessment in Key stage 1.
- Be an inspirational and creative teacher, striving for 'every child deserves the best, every child deserves respect'.
- Have a secure understanding of how children learn and use this effectively to secure the best outcomes for children.
- Work well as part of a team and also as an individual.
- Be able to communicate well, with good interpersonal skills.
- Have experience of teaching within Key Stage 1.
- Demonstrate a high expectation of achievement and behaviour.
- Have the commitment to drive and raise achievement, giving every child the opportunity to reach their potential.
- Have a commitment to working in partnership with parents and the wider community.
- Be a productive and reflective practitioner.
- Demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct.
