SENCo / Special Education Needs Coordinator

Caterham

Full time and Part time considered - 4 or 5 days per week

We are working with a wonderful school in the Caterham area. This caring school has been consistently rated Good with a brilliant history of providing a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for both pupils and staff.

They are looking for someone to join them ASAP until September to cover a parental leave as their SENCo.

This role can be part time (4 days per week) or full time with flexibility on the salary, depending on experience.

We are looking for someone with:

  • NASENCo Qualification preferred but almost completed with the right experience will be considered also
  • Outstanding experience working with children with SEN
  • Prior experience of working with external agencies
  • Used to working with and collaborating with teachers, external agencies, paretn and senior leadership
  • Proven experience with management of SEN policies
  • Excellent communication skills able to liaise with staff, parents and pupils
