Junior Planner – Catfield, Norfolk - £26,000 - £30,000

This is an opportunity for junior planner to join a global company with a strong reputation in the marine industry. The role of junior planner will suit someone with previous manufacturing experience and proficient with strong IT skills.
The job role and responsibilities:
As Junior Planneryou will help develop a production schedule for one or multiple products, detailing tasks and when production should be completed.
You will have various responsibilities but the key elements for this role are highlighted below:
- To liaise with production managers and purchasing manager
- Review daily, weekly and monthly production output plans
- Take part in stocktakes
- To manage inventory
- Review data to ensure correct levels of manpower
- Also review materials and stock to ensure continual supply
The requirements:
To be suitable for the role of Junior Planneryou will ideally have the following experience and skillset:
- Previous experience in a planning or administration role in manufacturing is essential
- Knowledge of inventory control and planning and scheduling would be ideal
- Experience using an MRP system
- Strong IT skills

- Salary £26,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
- The hours are 8:00 – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
- Company pension scheme
