Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting processes.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Provide support for any financial queries from staff or management.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Expert in Xero
- AAT level 3+ qualified
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
