We’re working with a well-established, family-run business based in Brompton-on-Swale, who are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper to join their friendly team on a permanent, part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role covering a wide range of bookkeeping duties, so it's ideal for someone experienced, organised, and looking for a long-term position with flexibility.
Main duties will include:
- Sales ledger - raising and sending out invoices
- Credit control
- Purchase ledger and processing payments to suppliers
- VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing cash flow
- Payroll and general HR admin
- Month-end reporting
What they’re looking for:
- Solid experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role
- A good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Someone who’s happy working independently and as part of a small team
Hours:20 hours per week - ideal over 3 days.
