Site Supervisor
Location - Cornwall
We are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor who would have worked on water projects before. The project involves doing upgrades on water mains network. Also includes planning and installing water meters and bypass pipeworks.
RESPONSIBILIES
- Key responsibility will be ensuring all health and safety policies are adhered to and maintained.
- Managing the supply chain and subcontractors - 2-3 teams at any one time.
- Auditing and quality checks.
- Procuring plant and materials.
- Helping with streetworks applications.
REQUIREMENTS
- White CSCS card or EUSR card essential
- SSSTS or SMSTS essential
- Water hygiene card essential
- NRSWA supervisor beneficial
- Asbestos awareness beneficial
- Knowledge of water industry
o They will be responsible for health and safety so must understand this
o Knowledge of piping / materials and how water works needed
- Could be suitable for an operative who is looking to step up into a supervisory role or someone with previous supervisory experience
- Ideally local to the area so they are familiar with the local geography
