Spinwell is recruiting for a Youth Justice Improvement Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE YOUTH JUSTICE IMPROVEMENT LEAD
Work with the chair and members of the Youth Justice Board to support it to fulfil all its statutory duties
Support the service to develop the skills of its staff, and have the necessary tools in place to provide a high quality service, including a review of polices and procedures, training, and access to performance data
Support full integration of the service into Childrens Services, identifying joint working arrangements and opportunities for further developing joint assessment, planning and recording
Work with partners to review service level agreements and maximise use of resources
Review the reparation offer and support plans for developing a wider programme of restorative opportunities for children
Support improvements in case management processes, including assessment, planning, intervention and management oversight
