They maintain a relaxed, but hardworking environment where everyone's contribution is valued. The Opportunity: Alongside Emma at TN Recruits Law, they are seeking an experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to support their busy conveyancing department. Working in a small, friendly office of 6, you’ll play a crucial role in assisting one of the fee-earners, when they are out of the office. The ability to manage conveyancing files independently is essential. You’ll also need to be flexible and willing to assist with other tasks across the office when needed. Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing conveyancing files from quote through to exchange
  • Opening new files and conducting necessary checks
  • Supporting post-exchange and post-completion with the assistance of dedicated support staff
  • Handling basic sales files and preparing contracts
  • Preparing land law packs and managing leasehold work (experience in leasehold work is an advantage)
  • Conducting online searches, dealing with third parties, and reviewing search results
  • Drafting reports for review by fee-earners
  • Completing and managing AP1 applications
  • Providing exceptional client service throughout the process
About You:
  • Proven experience as a conveyancing paralegal, with the ability to manage files independently
  • Familiarity with all aspects of the conveyancing process, including liaising with third parties, conducting searches, and drafting documents
  • Ability to multitask and step in to assist colleagues when needed
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
