About the Role
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the engineering function within our fast-paced FMCG manufacturing facility. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring that the production equipment operates efficiently and reliably while leading a skilled team to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across the site.
- Manage budgets, plan resources, and oversee engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve production and business goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- HNC qualification in Engineering or a related field – essential.
- Extensive leadership experience in an engineering management role.
- A strong background in FMCG manufacturing with a deep understanding of its challenges and demands.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- A results-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
