Join our Building & Customer Safety Team as a Compliance Administrator, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our properties are safe and compliant with current legislation. This position involves providing administrative and contract management support, coordinating property compliance services, and supporting the delivery of a high-quality compliance and responsive service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide administrative support for the delivery of our compliance function, focusing on gas servicing, asbestos management, water hygiene, and fire safety management.
  • Manage reactive repairs, raise and close orders on systems, and identify repeat breakdowns for further investigation.
  • Liaise with contractors to chase completion certificates and invoices.
  • Program surveys and inspections, book appointments with customers, and ensure adherence to the no access policy.
  • Manage no access cases in collaboration with the Landlord Services/Housing Team, including preparing paperwork for court appearances.
  • Maintain records and invoicing and provide reports to support the management of contractors and consultants.
  • Support the Compliance Contract Manager in the day-to-day running of contracts, arrange meetings, take accurate notes, and ensure effective record keeping.
  • Undertake post inspections on completed works to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate resources effectively.
  • Skilled in managing and integrating data management systems to maintain records and generate reports.
  • Competence in minute and letter writing.
  • Sound knowledge of general office administration procedures and good computer literacy.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult customers and understand diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
  • Committed to providing excellent customer-focused service.
  • Good telephone manner.
Desirable:
  • Previous experience in a housing association.
  • Understanding of Landlord Compliance.
  • Experience with database data entry.
  • Familiarity with DRS or a similar scheduling system.
