Based: near Dartford, Kent

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 pa - pro rata

Hours: 24 hours per week - either full days or part time hours over 5 days (flexible)

8.30am to 5.30pm

The Compliance Coordinator will work closely with the board of Directors. As an independent business there will be a requirement to incorporate other supporting duties within the role

Compliance Coordinator key job/person requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in compliance and operational support role
  • A polite and confident telephone manner.
  • Strong IT skills Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • The ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • Commitment of availability for accreditation and audit dates (Mainly audits are in June)
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy is crucial
  • A positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
  • The ability to use own initiative and work independently.
  • Willingness to listen and learn the business to succeed in this role.

Compliance Coordinator duties will include:

  • Prepare and manage ISO meetings and Audit management
  • Research and awareness of new legislation and how to implement.
  • Continual monitoring of processes and practices to ensure compliance and improvements.
  • External accreditation management
  • Updating and maintaining customer and accreditation portals.
  • Policy overview and updates
  • New starter management and onboarding working with department heads to ensure compliance.

Compliance Coordinator other duties will include:

  • Annual insurance policy reviews and renewals
  • HR tasks on adhoc basis - e.g minuting meetings
  • Vehicle management assistance for maintaining accreditation including downloading reports and analysis of data.
  • Sub-contractor checks
  • Complaints management
  • Training matrix management
  • Minuting and managing staff quarterly meetings (after working hours)
