About the Role

As an Experienced Social Worker, you will provide high-quality care planning and support for children in care. You will work closely with children, families, foster carers, and multi-agency professionals to secure the best outcomes for young people, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement care and pathway plans for children in care.
  • Work closely with foster carers, residential placements, and families to ensure children’s emotional and physical well-being.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor progress and identify support needs.
  • Advocate for children, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights upheld.
  • Work collaboratively with health, education, and safeguarding partners to promote positive outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities, safeguarding guidelines, and best practices.

About You

? A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.? Significant experience in children’s social care, particularly in Children in Care, Looked After Children (LAC), or safeguarding.? Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989.? Excellent communication, relationship-building, and advocacy skills.? A commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children and young people.
