About the Role

As an Experienced Social Worker in the Children’s Social Work Team, you will work directly with children in need, those on child protection plans, and looked-after children. You will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals to safeguard and promote children’s well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a complex caseload of children and families, providing high-quality social work interventions.
  • Conduct assessments and reviews to determine appropriate support and safeguarding measures.
  • Work closely with health professionals, schools, police, and other agencies to deliver effective, joined-up support.
  • Develop care and support plans that are child-centered and outcome-focused.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and best practice guidelines.
  • Advocate for children’s rights and ensure their voices are heard in all decision-making processes.
About You

? A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.? Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and statutory children’s social work.? Strong analytical, risk assessment, and decision-making skills.? Ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals.? Passionate about improving the lives of children and young people.
