IT Systems Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Systems Engineer based in Luton for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a well-established wholesale distributor.

Responsibilities of theIT Systems Engineer

• Support ERP systems including maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Oversee servers, desktops and IT systems.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure.
• Create detailed documentation from system configurations to troubleshooting procedures.
• System migrations.
• Hardware upgrades and network expansions.
• Provide technical support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.

Requirements for a successful IT Systems Engineer

• Driving licence and access to own car.
• Previous experience within a similar role.
• Experience with ERP systems and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows and VMware technologies.
• Experience with SQL database.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Salary: £33,000 - £34,500Location: Luton Type of Contract: Permanent  Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
