Veracious Talent Partners are working with a well-established FMCG business seeking an experienced Finance Leader to steer their finance function through an exciting period of change.
This role is pivotal in driving operational and commercial performance across one of their largest divisions, while leading and developing a small finance team.
What You’ll Do:-
Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning across multiple sites.

Lead year-end and half-year stock counts, ensuring accurate valuation and improved stock control.

Support statutory accounts preparation and audit queries.

Manage and develop two Finance Analysts, fostering growth and accountability.

Partner with Site, Group Finance, Operations, and Commercial teams on key projects and continuous improvement.

Provide financial insight to enhance operational decisions, capex appraisals, and efficiency improvements.

Improve financial processes and drive accountability across the business.

Oversee AR & AP, ensuring accurate invoicing, minimising aged debt, and maintaining financial integrity.

6-month contract with potential for extension.

Hybrid working - 4 days onsite in Chatteris, 1 day from home, plus occasional UK site visits.

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum.
