Primary School Teacher
Chatteris
£140 - £150 a day
Randstad Education are currently recruiting for supply Primary Teachers for a variety of roles across Chatteris. Long-term and day-to-day opportunities are available. ECTs are welcome to apply.
As a Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering effective and engaging lessons, marking work completed each day, and ensuring all pupils are supported academically, socially and emotionally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging and creative lessons that align with the curriculum.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and adapting your teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive educational community.
- Participating in school events and extracurricular activities to enrich the student experience.
Requirements as Primary Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching in a primary setting
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2)
- A positive and flexible approach to working with young learners
- An Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
