Look no further! We are currently seeking a committed supply teacher in Chatteris. Whether it's for a day, a week, or a month, the role of a supply teacher is crucial, especially during these unpredictable times. Schools rely on your expertise to maintain continuous learning. Your role will be to seamlessly implement class plans, ensuring consistent educational experiences and acting as a pillar of support for every student.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and activities in an engaging and supportive manner.
- Establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning.
- Supporting students' academic and social development in the absence of the regular class teacher.
- Collaborating with school staff to ensure a seamless transition during temporary assignments.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage One (KS1) & Key Stage Two (KS2)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
