Senior Management Accountant Role

NC Associates are working with a forward thinking and market leading property organisation based in South Manchester to assist in recruiting an experienced Senior Management Accountant. My client is looking for a confident and experienced Accountant who can help support the senior management team in preparing timely management accounts for various entities within the business. As a Senior Management Accountant you will have lots of autonomy and support to help build on your existing experience. 

Senior Management Accountant Responsibilities

  • Monthly management accounts and creation of annual statutory accounts preparation.
  • Monthly property accounting within Microsoft D365 and creation of annual statutory accounts.
  • Monthly P&L variance analysis and preparation of monthly reporting packs to the senior management team
  • Assisting the Finance Manager in the creation and maintenance of the quarterly consolidation report.
  • Assist with year-end processes and group accounts preparation.
  • Perform key balance sheet reconciliation tasks.
  • Regular inter-company reconciliation's.
  • Support with all aspects of the month end close.
  • Supporting on the year end audit, resolving queries with accompanying evidence etc
  • Quarterly VAT and CIS reporting.
  • Supporting the property accounting team and property operations.
  • Support finance managers with debt compliance.
  • Review and approval of sales invoice proposals.
  • Provide ad-hoc management reports.
  • Undertake other projects as required.

Senior Management Accountant Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a similar role preparing management accounts is essential
  • Qualified CIMA , ACCA , ACA
  • Property sector experience essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and curiosity to understand more
  • Able to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Experience of using Microsoft Dynamics 365 advantageous
