Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Support Executive to work closely with our Managing Director (MD) and Head of Sales in managing and progressing funding applications from both Property professionals and financial intermediaries, following up and managing a strong pipeline of sales enquiries and general sales support.

This role is based in our Manchester office and requires an organised, detail-oriented individual with experience in financial services. In this position, you will provide essential administrative and client support to the MD, ensuring smooth deal progression and high service levels for brokers and clients.

Sales Support - Key Responsibilities

Deal Management and Support:

  • Work closely with the MD and Head of Sales on managing deal pipelines, assisting with approval in principles (AIPs), and following up on enquiries.
  • Support the MD’s ongoing business calls and client follow-ups, ensuring timely and thorough responses to client and broker queries.
  • Liaise with external parties, such as valuers and solicitors, to facilitate the efficient progress of Funding applications through the credit process.
  • Keep internal systems up to date, ensuring data accuracy and pipeline visibility.

Client and Broker Relationship Management:

  • Assist the MD in managing key broker relationships, supporting new and ongoing communications to provide timely updates and maintain rapport.
  • Follow up on business enquiries generated by the MD, building initial connections with brokers and ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Coordinate and communicate with brokers regarding deal status, keeping them informed of progress and next steps.

Sales Support - Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a financial services role is preferred.
  • Excellent administrative skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable handling client and broker enquiries.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with CRM or data management systems, comfortable maintaining accurate records and tracking deal stages.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and in close collaboration with the MD.
