Finance Manager | £60,000 - £65,000 | Onsite | No.2 in Finance

Robert Half is working with a successful and growing business that is looking for a qualified accountant to step into a No.2 finance role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional to play a key role in the company's ambitious five-year growth strategy.

The Role

This is a highly visible position, working closely with senior leadership to provide accurate financial reporting, strategic insight, and treasury management. In addition to preparing management accounts and forecasts, a significant part of the role involves client-focused reporting, ensuring key stakeholders receive the financial information they need.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing management accounts, forecasts, reconciliations, and KPIs.
  • Managing funding partner relationships and treasury operations.
  • Producing detailed financial reports for clients, banks, auditors, and the Board.
  • Developing controls and systems to support the business's rapid growth.
  • Gaining a complete understanding of the business and deputising for the Financial Controller when needed.

Who We're Looking For

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant with strong commercial awareness.
  • Experience presenting financial information to senior stakeholders.
  • A hands-on, organised, and proactive individual who enjoys problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
  • Experience in financial services is beneficial but not essential.
