Drawing upon your extensive financial reporting experience, you will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance while supporting the business through a period of structural change. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the month-end close process, delivering insightful management accounts.
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations, implementing a structured review process.
  • Leading the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Managing the corporation tax process, working closely with external advisors to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Overseeing VAT submissions and acting as the first point of contact for tax-related queries.
  • Supporting a restructure of financial operations and streamlining processes across multiple entities.
  • Leading the insurance renewal process, liaising with stakeholders across the business.
  • Managing and mentoring a direct report, fostering professional development.

We’re looking for a proactive and commercially astute finance professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with strong technical accounting expertise.
  • A track record of leading financial reporting and month-end processes.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for process improvements.
  • Project management and SAP experience (desirable but not essential).
