Drawing upon your extensive financial reporting experience, you will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity and compliance while supporting the business through a period of structural change. Your responsibilities will include:
- Driving the month-end close process, delivering insightful management accounts.
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations, implementing a structured review process.
- Leading the preparation of statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Managing the corporation tax process, working closely with external advisors to meet reporting deadlines.
- Overseeing VAT submissions and acting as the first point of contact for tax-related queries.
- Supporting a restructure of financial operations and streamlining processes across multiple entities.
- Leading the insurance renewal process, liaising with stakeholders across the business.
- Managing and mentoring a direct report, fostering professional development.
We’re looking for a proactive and commercially astute finance professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. You will have:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with strong technical accounting expertise.
- A track record of leading financial reporting and month-end processes.
- Experience managing or mentoring a team.
- Strong analytical skills and an eye for process improvements.
- Project management and SAP experience (desirable but not essential).
