We're partnering with a privately owned FMCG manufacturer in Cheadle who are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to spearhead their HR programmes in line with their strategic goals. This role is central to driving initiatives in talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, and compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 3 HR Advisors
  • Implement HR strategies that align with the company’s objectives.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, employee development, and engagement programmes.
  • Contribute to long-term business and people development goals, including succession planning and employee risk management.
  • Develop and manage wellbeing, health, and counselling policies.
  • Analyse employee feedback and data to enhance workplace culture and engagement.
  • Manage the HR department's budget while ensuring alignment with the company’s culture.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree-qualified with a relevant professional HR certification (CIPD) preferred.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience in strategic decision-making, with an understanding of business finances and goals.
  • Proficient in employment law and HR best practices, particularly in employee relations, disciplinaries, and redundancies.
  • A natural leader who can build trust, mentor, and coach across the organisation.
