HR Manager - Generalist

This is one of those roles that you do not want to miss!! We're recruiting for a truly impressive company in Manchester who are gearing up for growth and going through a period of positive change. They've been around for years, and have a brilliant reputation in their industry along with a varied and impressive client base. Due to growth they are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team as People Operations Manager.

Location: Manchester office 2 days per week, 3 from home

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000

Benefits: 28 days holiday plus bank hols, pension, healthcare plan, flexibility with working times

Hours: Full-time, permanent

What you'll be doing;

  • Shaping, driving and maintaining their company culture and wellbeing agenda working collaboratively across the business
  • Managing employee relations issues, coaching and guiding managers
  • Writing and rolling-out of policies and procedures, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest legislation changes
  • Supporting employees and ensure they are well-informed about HR policies and feel they can approach HR for any advice and guidance
  • Guiding Managers with performance related issues and support them in conducting appraisals, feedback sessions as well as development and growth plans for their teams
  • Supporting the talent team to design and implement effective talent management strategies
  • Responsible for HR reports, analysing data and trends and using those metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Working closely with the wider HR team on HR projects, both short term and long term projects

What skills and experience will you need?

  • HR Generalist experience at HRBP or HR Manager level
  • Strong HR policy knowledge as well as current employment law
  • Enjoys working with data, and has strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ideally CIPD qualified but not essential
