Douglas Scott are working exclusively with a reputable, tech-driven law firm looking for a talented Conveyancer which will be based at the firms Cheadle office  They are open on a Solicitor, Legal Exec/Licensed Conveyancer or a Conveyancing Paralegal/Fee Earner who has at least 12 months+ handling their own conveyancing files and is looking to build on the experience they have with opportunities to work closely with the experienced Head of Conveyancing  What You'll Do:
  • Manage a varied caseload of Residential Conveyancing transactions from start to finish.
  • Deal with and respond to client enquiries
  • Assist the fee earners with all aspects of their caseloads from inception to completion
  •   Service existing clients to an exceptional standard
  •   Deal with any admin and ad hoc duties
  •   Open and close files for the solicitor
  • Undertake administration and fee earning work under supervision.
  • Generation of suitable client care correspondence.
  • Draft documents and correspondence under supervision.
  • Manage files in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures.
  • Deal wherever possible with routine client enquiries and communications.
  •   Dealing with administrative and reception duties as required.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of all the firm's and client's documentation and information
  • Using Proclaim CRM and operate both paperless and paper systems
  • Attending clients and third parties both in person and on the telephone and providing support in a professional and friendly manner.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 1+ years' experience in handling Residential Conveyancing matters.
  • Strong client care and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
