Senior Social Media Executive £30-35,000

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most trusted, award-winning private healthcare clinics in the UK as a Senior Social Media Executive.

As the Senior Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies across multiple platforms, producing high-quality graphics and videos, crafting compelling captions, and utilising analytics to inform and improve strategic decisions. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company's brand identity, goals, and target audience.
  • Manage and oversee social media content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok).
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company's social media presence remains innovative and effective.
  • Design high-quality graphics and visuals using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva.
  • Produce engaging video content using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Rush, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Craft compelling and engaging social media captions tailored to the voice and tone of the brand.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including designers, copywriters, and marketing professionals, to create cohesive and engaging social media campaigns.
  • Collaborate with external partners and providers to maximise new opportunities.
  • Oversee and optimise our User-Generated Content (UGC) and influencer engagement strategies.
  • Mentor a Marketing Apprentice in all aspects of social media.
  • Utilise social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social or In-App analytics to track performance metrics, including engagement, reach, impressions, and follower growth.
  • Analyse data to gain insights and inform future social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on social media performance to stakeholders, highlighting successes, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster and grow the online community, encouraging engagement and interaction with the brand.

About You:

  • You will have a strong background in marketing as well as having experience of managing a team.
  • Demonstrate experience in brand management strategy with pipeline growth.
  • Have proven budget management experience.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Experienced in all areas of marketing.
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Good eye for design to keep within brand guidelines.
  • Excellent project and time management skills - a self-starter, able to confidently meet deadlines and handle a varied task list.
  • Educated to degree level, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role, with a portfolio of successful social media campaigns, graphics, and video content.
  • Qualification in social media, digital marketing, graphic design, video production, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices.
  • Proficient in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Canva.
  • Skilled in video production and editing using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to create engaging and persuasive captions.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hey Orca, Sprout Social).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for social media and digital marketing.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as strong collaboration skills within a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
