Workshop Engineer

Our client are leading electromechanical service providers, due to expansion they are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join their busy team!
Workshop Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Mechanical maintenance, repair and assembly of pumps, motors and gearboxes
- Carry out fault finding on break down equipment
- Refurbish high and low voltage (AC & DC) electric motors and generators
- Overhauling a wide variety of pumps, motors and gearboxes
- Ensure that deadlines are met to meet customer expectation
- Work on a rota basis for call outs
The ideal Workshop Engineer will:
- Have experience working with electrical motors, pumps and gearboxes
- Be able to complete fault finding on products
- Have a basic IT skill set
- Have knowledge of safety protocols and PPE
- Some electrical knowledge is beneficial
Workshop Engineer Working Hours + Benefits:
- Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Enhanced overtime available
