Audit and Accounts Senior- Up to £42 per annum- Basildon & Chelmsford

This role is ideally for a newly qualified ACA/ACCA that is looking for a role that demonstrates technical expertise to contribute to the successful completion of client assignments. You will work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with the firm's standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply your practical experience and technical knowledge to fulfil the role effectively.
  • Take ownership of individual assignments, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Lead audits at client premises and supervise the work to meet planning objectives.
  • Review the work of other team members.
  • Follow the firm's systems and processes for effective results.
  • Supervise and support junior team members on audit and accounts assignments, both in-office and at client premises.
  • Communicate confidently with clients, addressing queries and building strong working relationships.
  • Work closely with team members and discuss any issues that arise during the audit process.
  • Stay commercially focused by understanding the business environment and identifying changes that may impact clients.
  • Complete timesheets and maintain an up-to-date Outlook calendar.
  • Assist in the firm's marketing and promotional activities as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge and skills relevant to the role.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
