Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Senior to join our client's dynamic team in Chelmsford. As an Audit Senior, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality audit and assurance services to their diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
  • Reviewing financial statements and audit reports, identifying any areas of risk or concern.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact.
  • Ensuring all audit work is completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an audit role, preferably within a practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
