Due to growth I am supporting a Top-10 Accounting Firm to recruit a permanent Financial Accounting Assistant at their offices in Chelmsford. This is a hybrid position where you can expect to be in the office for 3 days per week. In this role, you will make a significant impact by consistently delivering high-quality work and exceptional client service.

Key Duties:

  • Prepare management accounts under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Document and maintain files with sufficient evidence for review and audit purposes.

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.

  • Deliver exceptional client service and consistently produce high-quality work.

  • Identify and resolve inaccuracies or discrepancies in client accounts.

  • Meet deadlines and timescales, proactively seeking guidance to address challenges.

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial reporting processes.

The successful candidate will be experienced working within an accounting/practice firm. You will be able to commute to the client offices in Chelmsford 3 days per week and be effecetive working remotely 2 days per week. You will be actively studying ACCA or an accomplished qualified AAT technitian.
