My client are an established firm of accountants and business advisers, based in Central Essex but working with clients locally and nationally. The range of services the business can provide support entrepreneurs and their businesses to thrive

As the business continues to develop their portfolio they are looking for a qualified accountant to join the team. At this level you would be expected to act as an extension to the client business, providing not only statutory and compliant services but also forecasting, analysis and commercial finance support.

  • Preparation of accounts for a wide range of businesses.
  • Preparing corporation tax returns and proving tax advice to clients.
  • Review and analyse management reporting packs and data on behalf of clients, explaining financial and commercial options.
  • Support audits and tax planning.
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships and help to develop new business.
  • Support the development of the team.

Successful candidates will be qualified (ACCA OR ACA) with relevant experience gained in a practice environment. You will have practical experience on preparing statutory accounts and corporate tax returns, along with a proven ability to communicate financial planning information clearly. The role requires a strong and up to date knowledge of accounting regulations and compliance.
