Read on!About the RoleThe Subsidiary Accountant will be responsible for the financial accounting and reporting of multiple subsidiaries, managing intercompany reconciliations and supporting tax reporting requirements. The role requires a proactive and analytical individual who can contribute to process improvements and maintain strong financial controls.Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the monthly accounting process for multiple holding companies, including journals, purchase orders, GL reconciliations and forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements and liaising with auditors.
  • Overseeing intercompany recharges and reconciliation processes.
  • Supporting tax reporting, including VAT returns and reporting packs.
  • Maintaining compliance with financial controls and SOX 404 requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial efficiencies.
Candidate Profile
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified.
  • Experience in financial accounting within a medium to large organisation or in practice.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, with a passion for driving improvements.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other key applications (SAP experience would be a plus).
