A growing and successful company who are based in central Essex are looking for additional support in the accounts team due to growth. Then this is for you!You will be assisting the Accounts Manager as part of a team and you will already have some experience working in accounts, be someone who is happy to pick new duties up and have good attention to detail. As well you will need to be engaging, resilient, determined, with a "can do" attitude. Dealing with customers, suppliers and colleagues in a positive and friendly manner Key responsibilities include* Working as part of a busy team collaboratively * Maintain appropriate, accurate reporting systems and controls, enabling end users to analyse options and make informed decisions* Participate in special projects as needed within the departmentDaily and Monthly Responsibilities:* Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports* Purchase ledger - reconcile supplier statements, gaining authorisation to pay and processing invoices* Payment runs via BACS and Chaps * Entering transactions daily onto the system* Credit control / sales ledger, managing and chasing outstanding debt* Filing* Bank reconciliations* Customer remittance posting* Assist with the month end process and reconciliation's* Assist with reporting financial data to managementThis position offers benefits such a lovely and positive working environment, parking on site, holidays that rise with service plus your birthday off, study support, progression, high performer reward vouchers, pension scheme, annual discretionary bonus scheme and other benefits.
