The school are seeking an experienced School Secretary to join their team, on a permanent basis in January 2025. The main purpose of this role will be safeguarding the welfare of the children, be responsible for the management of the administrative support function, and to provide secretarial, personnel, administration and clerical duties. The school uses Double First (Engage) for administration and finance, full training will be given if required.

The successful School Secretary will have:

  • Experience of a wide range of clerical and administrative duties.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy school office.
  • Experience of maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience of communication with a wide range of audiences, including staff, pupils, parents and visitors.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office software.
  • Driving licence due to the remote location of the school.
