Our client, a privately-owned village pub and restaurant, are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Head Chef to lead their small kitchen brigade. Located in a Village between Chelmsford and Billericay, this beautiful, traditional village pub is known for its quality classic British dishes, fine wine and real ale. Seating up to 50 covers including their outside area.

The ideal Head Chef will have experience in a similar establishment and will have the confidence to lead a kitchen team and successfully run each service. You will be keen to showcase your creative skills and add to an already thriving menu.

Using locally sourced ingredients, this venue prides themselves on producing high quality food and as a result, remain busy year-round hosting locals and tourists alike.

As Head Chef, you will be training chefs in all areas and aspects of the kitchen, with responsibilities not limited to, preparing dishes, training on each section and presentation.

This position will cover 48 hours per week, to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
