Sales Executive

This is an exciting new opportunity for a full time Sales Executive to join a company based on the outskirts of Chelmsford on a permanent basis. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm and offers hybrid working (every Friday working from home). Must drive due to company location.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Dealing with customer queries and ensuring these are followed up to secure orders
  • Responsible for driving sale performance through proactive sales activity with customers
  • Working with the Sales team to develop sales strategies to achieve business growth and meet sale targets
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with existing clients to understand their needs
  • Managing client meetings to identify additional sales opportunities
  • Researching and recording sale activity and updates on potential new clients using the CRM database
  • Preparing sale reports, presentations and proposals, analysing information weekly to highlight to the management team
  • Monitoring competitor activity and researching industry trends and market conditions
  • Liaising and supporting internal teams with ad hoc tasks to ensure business projects are being delivered

To be successful for this position, you must have previous sales and business development experience and strong knowledge of digital marketing. You must be highly organised with strong attention to detail, as well as being an excellent communicator with a professional telephone manner, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels. You should also be proficient using CRM software and Microsoft packages.
