Repairs and Maintenance

Are you an experienced Building Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? We are currently seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join a reputable housing association for a 3-month contract. This role will focus on managing reactive repairs and void properties, ensuring that the housing stock is maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys and assessments of residential properties to identify maintenance needs.
  • Manage and oversee reactive repairs, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Assess void properties and recommend necessary works to bring them back into occupancy.
  • Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and residents to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of inspections and works completed.

Requirements:

  • Relevant building surveying qualification (degree or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in the housing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations and health and safety legislation.
