Your new companyYou will be working for a tier 1 contractor that specialises in commercial projects across various sectors. This is a forward-thinking company that prioritises wellbeing and inclusivity, while delivering projects of the highest standard.Your new roleAs a Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for leading projects up to the value of £20million. Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the site, ensuring adherence to all policies, procedures, and standards using specified drawings and instructions, within budget and on programme in support of our Perfect Delivery philosophy.
  • Supervise all direct labour as necessary and coordinate the activities of trades and subcontractors involved on site to ensure all operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme.
  • Ensure health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times in accordance with laid down company procedures and legislation.
  • Provide a reliable, first point of contact service.
  • Implement and monitor all systems and procedures and ensure effective operation.
  • Establish and maintain site set up and welfare facilities.
  • Provide feedback on objectives and training and development needs, as requested.
  • Understand customer's objectives and ensure good communication with the team.
  • Encourage customer feedback, communicate effectively with line managers, and take appropriate action where necessary.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience as a senior site manager working on commercial projects ideally within defence, education or leisure sectors to the value of £20million
  • SMSTS
  • CSCS
  • First aid
  • Full UK driving licence
