Health & Safety Project Manager

Temporary (6 months), Full Time

Our client are urgently seeking a Health & Safety Project Manager to address key actions identified in a recent Health & Safety Review. This is a critical role that requires both Health & Safety expertise and strong project management skills to ensure the implementation of robust project governance and timely execution of necessary actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with an in-house Health & Safety Advisor (part-time) to drive H&S initiatives to completion.
  • Implement effective project governance and ensure deadlines are met according to set timescales.
  • Oversee the delivery of Health & Safety actions, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and clear communication.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven background in Health & Safety management.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to govern and drive projects to completion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and guide the activity to meet desired timescales.
  • Experience within local government is preferred but not essential.
