About the Role
A growing automotive business in Chelmsford is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team. The role is focused on delivering high-quality customer service, ensuring customer queries and aftercare concerns are handled professionally and efficiently. You will be the first point of contact, providing support across various channels and working closely with internal teams to resolve issues and boost the overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be the main point of contact for customer care, handling queries, concerns and aftersales issues.
- Communicate clearly and professionally via phone, email, and in person.
- Ensure a positive customer experience by addressing concerns in a timely and effective manner.
- Support the aftersales team by managing enquiries and maintaining a professional customer environment.
- Use customer support tools, including ticketing systems, to track and manage cases.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
- Encourage customer feedback and promote positive reviews.
- Monitor and report on customer service performance to identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or customer support role.
- A friendly and professional approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in handling phone interactions.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
- Experience with CRM systems or ticketing software is beneficial.
- A proactive mindset with a problem-solving approach, able to remain composed under pressure.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a busy and customer-focused environment.
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
