Great opportunity to join this family owned and run supplier of Plastic Plumbing Materials, highly ambitious business with an Internal Sales opportunity, based in the office in Essex covering London and the South East, our client is refreshingly open minded on the person as long as you have Internal Sales experience and a hunger for business development. The Role

  • Selling the company's distributed range of Plastic Plumbing Materials, the range is vast but includes Push Fit, Underground & Drainage, Waste, Valves and Accessories, representing some of the most well known manufacturers.
  • Your client base is huge but is the Independent market, Independent builders merchants, Plumbers merchants, Decorating Shops, DIY Stores, Plumbing and Heating Stores and Bathroom Showrooms.
  • Office based in Essex, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
  • Managing around 100 accounts, building relationships and developing accounts through new business and upselling.
  • You will be given a list of lapsed accounts also to target and be expected to generate new business.
  • This is more about selling the high quality service of the company and their next day delivery service plus the very high customer service abilities.
  • Making 50-80 calls per day.
  • Supporting the field sales person and booking them appointments.
  • Assisting with quotes and orders.
  • Excellent database to access.
  • In house training. 
  • Very realistic targets
  • This role offer excellent scope for progression

The Person:

  • Must have sales experience
  • Happy being new business focused
  • Ideally business to business sales experience
  • Plumbing/construction sales experience advantageous but not essential
  • Have a real sense of urgency
  • Strong access to the office in Essex
  • IT Literate
  • A real people person
  • This is actually a very person led opportunity
