Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new, 3-month contract role to help a local SME through a period of growth and change?
We have partnered with a highly successful, fast growing SME business based on the Chelmsford border who are seeking to recruit an Interim Finance Manager to help them through an exciting project.
You will be reporting into the Finance Director with responsibility for a small team covering Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, train and develop accounts payable staff, including setting performance goals and daily tasks
- Run supplier statement runs
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of over 5000 invoices per month within the team
- Prepare and analyse reports, including aging reports, cash flow projections & debtors reports
- Oversee all statement reconciliations within team
- Approving invoices
- Monitor AP processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Assist with audits and provide documentation and support
- If required, be involved in month end tasks and assist the Finance Director with any ad hoc tasks
