We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in a senior Customer Services role. This position will work closely with the Customer Services Manager and other departments to ensure delivery of first-class customer service, manage customer orders efficiently, and drive process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service or order management within a manufacturing environment and possess excellent communication skills.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Cover for the Customer Services Manager when required and collaborate within all areas of the business to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure prompt booking of customer orders in coordination with the Sales team.
  • Assist the Sales team in managing and developing high-value accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers, ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Credit Control, Trade Compliance, and Logistics to enhance the customer experience.
  • Represent the voice of the customer within the organisation to remove blocks and drive improvements.
  • Recommend enhancements and simplifications to Customer Services procedures.
  • Participate in ad hoc Customer Services projects and perform other tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Customer Service or Order Management role within a manufacturing organisation, preferably in an international context.
  • Strong continuous improvement and process-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency with ERP and CRM systems (SAP or equivalent).
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Excel and good working knowledge of other MS Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and capable of working with high levels of autonomy.
  • Team player who can also work independently.
