Working Monday to Friday 9 to 5pm, with an hour lunch, totaling 35 hours per week
The successful candidate will work to their own initiative and organize resources to deliver an effective service delivery of maintenance including:
- undertake repairs and maintenance duties
- identify and report any potential maintenance which may require specialist or contractor attendance
- ensure a safe environment is maintained
- assist with building checks and audits
- maintain stock levels and accurate records and follow administrative procedures
- waste management and general cleaning
- paining, plumbing and heating tasks
ENHACED CLEAR DBS MANDATORY & Minimum 2 years of similar experience in similar role
- Experience in interpreting written instructions and maintaining simple written records
- The ability to self-motivate
- Excellent awareness of Health & Safety and implementing procedures
- Proven ability to achieve/exceed business objectives
- Experience implementing quality standards and working to customer specifications
- Able to demonstrate a level of numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of Grade C English and MathsGCSE
- Practical experience in operating hand tools and light machinery
- Practical skill in identifying and /or carrying out repairs
- Good understanding of written and spoken English, customer care and interpersonal skills
- Experience in paining, plumbing and heating
