Your new role and responsibilities:

** Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to the SEN curriculum standards.

** Provide high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally.

** Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs.

** Support and guide children to ensure that they feel valued and safe at all times.

** Safeguarding children.

** Liaise with SLT and parent's/ guardians regarding pupils progress and any concerns that may arise.

** Ensure children are motivated and having fun during their lessons.** Adapt delivery of lessons to pupils needs.

Qualifications:

** Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.

** Previous classroom teaching experience in a similar role.

** Good understanding of SEMH, Challenging behaviour, Trauma, Mental Health and knowledge of the latest teaching methods.

** Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

** Calm, patient and resilient approach.

** Able to adapt to each child's needs.
