Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in Essex with their search for a Senior/Principal Town Planning Officer to join their DM Team on initial 3 month contract.

The candidate must be experienced in drafting, negotiating and securing, and implementing, planning performance agreements. This will be a key element of the role to provide additional capacity in the Planning Service. The role will involve working on major and minor applications.

The council are ideally looking for someone as well who has 3 years working of principal planning officer experience
