Commercial Property Team

Fisher Jones Greenwood has a highly experienced and well-respected Commercial Property team. The team has significant scope and experience in dealing with all aspects of commercial real estate; from complex negotiations, right through to completion of all aspects of property-related transactional work.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Property Solicitor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial property law, demonstrate excellent negotiation skills, and have a proven track record of managing complex property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Oversee and manage the sale, purchase, lease, and development of commercial properties.
  • Client Consultation: Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring their interests are protected in all property transactions.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence, including reviewing property titles, conducting searches, and advising on potential legal risks.
  • Document Preparation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, agreements, and other legal documents related to commercial property.
  • Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with current laws and regulations, advising clients on legal updates and implications.
  • Dispute Resolution: Handle disputes related to commercial property, including litigation if necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments within the firm, including corporate, finance, and litigation teams, to provide comprehensive legal support.
  • Business Development: Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and retain existing ones, including networking events and marketing initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor or legal executive with a minimum 4 years’ experience in Commercial Property.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Be confident in managing multiple priorities and working under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Show a high degree of professionalism and integrity
