Corporate & Commercial Solicitor - Successful Legal Practice - Chelmsford, Essex / Hybrid - Competitive Salary
We are on the hunt for an ambitious Commercial Solicitor, ideally with 4 years+ PQE, to join a highly reputable legal practice as a Corporate & Commercial Solicitor.
The Solicitor will be dealing with both new and existing clients, offering expert, commercially minded legal advice and ensuring that top-class services are consistently provided.
With sound knowledge of corporate and commercial matters, you will proactively advise clients on a wide range of matters.
Key responsibilities as the Corporate & Commercial Solicitor will include:
- Dealing with matters on behalf of clients on a wide range of matters including M&As, corporate deals, shareholder agreements, management buy-ins/outs, restructuring, financing etc.
- Building and maintaining strong relations with referrers and clients
- Working on a varied caseload
- Leading the growth of the commercial department
- Ensuring clients have the confidence to instruct the firm to solve their problems
- Undertaking business development activities to help grow the business

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Commercial Solicitor / Legal Executive (ideally 4 years+ PQE)
- Sound knowledge of corporate and commercial law
- Experienced in M&As, corporate deals, shareholder agreements, management buy-ins/outs, restructuring, financing and general commercial work
- Experience managing varied caseloads
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to fully understand the needs of business clients
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Driven to provide the highest level of client service at all times
- Focused and hard working attitude
- Proactive nature
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- IT literate
