Employment Law Solicitor - Successful Legal Practice - Chelmsford, Essex / Hybrid - Competitive Salary

We’re on the hunt for an ambitious Employment Law Solicitor, with 2 years+ PQE, to join a highly reputable legal practice in their busy Employment Law team.

Working directly with the MD, the Employment Law Solicitor will be dealing with both new and existing clients, offering expert, commercially minded legal advice and ensuring that top-class services are consistently provided.

With sound knowledge of employment law, you will proactively advise clients on a wide range of matters.

Key responsibilities as the Employment Law Solicitor will include:

  • Dealing with employment law client matters and solving problems for individuals
  • Helping organisations from startups to larger SMEs, solving day-to-day employment and HR issues
  • Ensuring client stay on the right side of the law with up-to-date paperwork and expert advice
  • Building and maintaining strong relations with referrers and clients
  • Ensuring clients have the confidence to instruct the firm to solve their problems
  • Undertaking business development activities to help grow the business

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in employment law (ideally 2 years+ PQE)
  • Sound knowledge of relevant UK employment laws and legal processes and procedures
  • Experience in managing employment law matters and advising companies and individuals
  • The ability to fully understand the needs of clients
  • Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Driven to provide the highest level of client service at all times
  • Focused and hard working attitude
  • Proactive nature
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • IT literate
