An In-House Legal Specialist opportunity with a well-established, privately owned automotive company.

You will use your experience on consumer law, to coordinate and advise on all legal matters surrounding the business. This role involves providing legal support to the board of directors and management team, handling consumer legal challenges and ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

This is a dynamic, successful and rapidly growing organisation who are proactively approaching many of the common industry problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and address customer queries, offering legal insights to the management team.
  • Manage and coordinate litigation claims from initiation to resolution, including documentation.
  • Negotiate with lenders and external parties to resolve consumer issues.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance team knowledge of legal matters.
  • Build relationships with external legal service providers for cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain and update legal databases.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Qualified solicitor or paralegal with at least 2 years of experience in consumer law.
  • Proven ability in customer resolution and litigation.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate legal concepts into practical advice.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
